Description
This adhesive wax mixture is used by cordwainers and other leatherworkers to mount bristles to threads and to make strong, water resistant seams.
Blended from Australian bees wax and colophony rosin, this coad is used by drawing thread across the block to melt it by friction. Care should be taken when applying or burnishing coad, as the molten wax gets much hotter than pure beeswax.
Coad should be stored in water or away from the air, or the outer surface will dry out.
