Description
A pair of bronze buckles based on an extant find from Rotterdam in The Netherlands.
Thought to have been shoe buckles, these will buckle any half inch (13mm) strap, including shoes, purses, garters and belts.

Period: approx 1500-1700.
Made in Sydney, Australia by Keystone Forge from lead-free bronze. These bucklles are made from an alloy of copper and tin only.
