Description
5 buttons based on an extant button in the Gilbert collection, used to button sleeves and front openings on clothing.
The button is spherical with a shank on one side and nipple opposite the shank.

Found in Western Ukraine, from the Kyivan Rus culture.

Made in Sydney, Australia by Keystone Forge from lead-free bronze. These buttons are made from an alloy of copper and tin only.
