Description
Pendant from a horse harness in the shape of a lion rampant. This pendant would have hung from a mount on a horse harness, often in long matching sets that bounced and gleamed with the movement of the horse.
Lions were used a heraldic symbol of strength and power from the early middle ages.

Made in Sydney, Australia by Keystone Forge from lead-free bronze. This pendant is made from an alloy of copper and tin only.
