Description
Bronze pendant in the shape of an oak leaf. Perhaps carried as an amulet, or worn as a belt mount or decorative accessory.
Leaves and acorns of the oak tree were associated with good health and longevity, and this may have been an amulet for good health.
Based on a find from the Rotterdam Market Hall excavation in the Netherlands.
